Top 4 Membership Types

My friend and mentor Stu McLaren is still teaching his membership secrets this week so…

If you've ever felt the stress of not knowing where sales will come from next month, then I want to encourage you to do one specific thing... Start thinking about how you can shift your attention away from "one-time" sales and more towards "recurring sales". We see these all the time with memberships right? And what could that look like for you?

Here are some initial ideas to get your creative juices flowing:

1) Product Memberships

🪒 Dollar Shave Club made these famous. Instead of selling a product and hoping their customers return, they created a membership. For a monthly fee, they send them each month. Now you see these for socks, candles, creams, candy and more!

If you’ve got a product based business, ask “what are my best customers buying again and again?” Start there.

2) Service Memberships

Mary-Claire Fredette joined Stu's community and wanted to grow her massage therapy practise. So she applied his process to her service based business.

Now customers pay a monthly fee and they get massages every month. Easy right? Just shift your mind to recurring sales instead of one-time transactions.  This has been done with barbershops, graphic design services, juice shops, car washes, delivery services and more.

3) Knowledge Memberships

Anyone with an expertise, passion or interest can create one of these. If you’re...

✅ Teaching a skill (ex. play guitar)

✅ Helping people solve a problem (ex. fix a toxic relationship)

✅ You see an opportunity to make someone’s life easier (ex. done for you lesson plans for teachers)...

Then you can do this! The key is to get very specific about WHO you serve and HOW you specifically help.

4) Community Memberships

It can be a lonely world if you’re the only one you know with a certain interest. The internet gives us the opportunity to share those passions with others. That’s why people will gladly pay to be connected together 🤗   Every year Stu helps thousands of people launch their membership. Why not you? STOP overthinking. It’s time to get out of your head and start exploring how you could incorporate a membership model into your business!
